Nutrition Consultant (NC) Hawthorn University is approved and licensed by the state of California to provide certificate programs and degrees in holistic nutrition by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE), school code #48441699. Hawthorn graduates are eligible to sit for the board certification exam in holistic nutrition from the Holistic Nutrition Credentialing Board (HNCB). For additional information visit the HNCB website. A certificate from Hawthorn University credits our graduates with the highest professional standard. Graduates will be able to consult and teach health and self- care, research, and disseminate nutrition information. A certificate from Hawthorn University does not confer the right to diagnose, prescribe, treat symptoms, injury, or disease. Graduates from Hawthorn's Nutrition Consultant Program will have demonstrated expertise and proven ability as a Nutrition Consultant.
